Personal | Minaki Yurt Adventures

This September my husband and I drove out to Minaki, Ontario and spent a weekend at the oh so adorable & secluded Blueberry yurt of Minaki Yurt Adventures. It was something we had talked about doing for years and finally, we made it happen.

The prize at the end of our uphill 20minute hike, with supplies in tow, was well worth the effort it took to get there. Tucked up high in the bush was a one room space for us to temporarily call home. It was cozier than I could of ever imagined, the views & surroundings were absolutely beautiful, the sunsets even better and the food, simple yet so delicious.

Hiking, a failed canoe ride, seclusion, and a weekend sans electricity, cell phones or laptops made me remember why time with your spouse is so important yet sadly so often forgotten.

Thankful for this memory, this place, and this man!
